As you may know, this year, the fall Bing Crosby Season Opening Day is being held on Veterans Day, November 11th, 2016. In honor of our Veterans and our amazing country, we invite all fashion-minded guests to participate in the Stars & Stripes Fashion Contest! As sponsors of the Opening Day Fashion Contest, we at Studio Savvy have the lowdown on what our amazing judges will be looking for when choosing the winners, and we want to share our insider knowledge to help all you fashionistas show up in style!

We want to see your interpretation of Stars and Stripes, Red, White and Blue, camo, and/or freedom – with a pin up flare, if you dare! This is a creative opportunity to put your spin on our country’s history, while letting your evil twin strut her stuff in some pin up sass. Come be festive, and don’t hold back. Use what you already have, pull out your 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc. decorations, you can even use an American flag and run with it!  Still, need some inspiration to put together your perfect Freedom Fit? Check out a sneak peak of some of the fashion our Savvy models will be rockin’ the day of and also find a source list to help you fashionistas find the perfect place(s) to find what you need:

Fashion is our passion here at Studio Savvy, but we are also excited to announce that there is more to look forward to this Opening Day than just the Stars & Stripes Fashion Contest!

Vince, with Mugshot Studios, will be joining us on Opening Day with his authentic 1920’s Model T and his handcrafted, industrial furniture/props to create an authentic vintage vibe and awesome photo shoot opps!

If you joined us for the summer Opening Day festivities, you might remember cheesin’ it up at the photo booth.  Amey Hoey will be joining us again with PhotoBarz by Pixstar! PhotoBarz is San Diego’s hottest new Open Air Photo Booth Company. Their state-of-the-art 32 inch touch screen display brings Buzz & Entertainment to all types of venues and events and captures non-stop PhotoBooth fun, one snap at a time.  They don’t just bring the Booth…they bring the PARTY!!  So make sure to stop by the contestant area to snap a few fun photos of your awesome outfits!

We are also excited to introduce Siobhan Gazur, who will be the featured fashion photographer for Opening Day with us!

Last, but certainly not least, we have to give a huge shout out, and an even bigger thank you, to the trio that makes this whole thing possible: Joe Cuviello, Deena Von Yokes, and Chris Bahr!
