How Does pH Bonder Work?
We think the simplest way to understand how pH Bonder works is to first think of each individual hair strand as a ladder. There are rungs (bonds) that go up and down the length of the ladder. The rungs are what hold the two outside pieces of the ladder together. If one breaks, it will start to weaken the ladder. If more than one breaks, then eventually the ladder will collapse. The same thing happens with your hair. When the bonds that hold each strand together start to break, your hair becomes brittle and starts to break apart. Usually we see this happen most at the ends of each hair strand.
In basic terms, what pH Bonder does is penetrate and strengthen the bonds within each strand of hair. This results in stronger, healthier and shinier hair, and will help to keep your hair looking its best, even after color treatments or lots of time in the Sun.

Here we have a wonderful client with some incredible long sandy blonde hair. With our Flash Lift Lightener ready, we mixed in the pH Bonder to help protect the hair as it is being highlighted. There is a second part of the treatment at the base of the scalp as well.
Then with EQ Gloss, we neutralized the yellow into a cooler, softer blonde. As you can see from the photos, the difference between the before and after is amazing! The pH bonder definitely helps the hair look fuller and silkier.
